- Do you have some time to spare? Are you interested in making a difference in our community? Would you like to give of your time and talents to work along with others who have responded to Mary Virginia’s challenge to “find a need and fill it”?
  
  The Chapter welcomes individuals of any age and background. Although the majority of members are of the Catholic faith following in the footsteps of our founder, Mary Virginia Merrick, individuals from all denominations are welcome. Our members are the heart and soul of our service and programs. Our rich and varied volunteer activities make a difference in the lives of the children we support and impact the community in which we live. While serving in the CCSFW you will meet new people, share your talents, develop new skills, become a part of a welcoming group of friends, and have opportunities to participate in faith-driven activities.

- Your time and talents are needed in the following areas:
  
  Assembling layettes
  
  Reading to a preschoolers
  
  Helping distribute new winter coats, hats and gloves
  
  Assembling backpacks
  
  Staffing Crib Clubs
  
  Fundraising
  
  Sewing and knitting items used in other CCSFW ministries
  
  Identifying opportunities for grants
  
  Planning faith-based activities
  
  Planning social events
  
  Serving on the Board of Directors
